Independent Support

Small changes make all the difference.

Outstanding Support.

It all begins with a conversation. Whatever your needs, we exist to help individuals live a more independent and dignified life. Our team of expert Support Coordinators leverage a network of services and government entities that truly help bring peace of mind.

We are investing in removing the physical, cultural, economic, communication, mobility, and attitudinal barriers that impeded people with disabilities.

Support for Individuals

With the awareness that people should be the driving force behind their own services and determining what is needed and what is important, Tennessee Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Services (DIDD) is moving toward adoption of Principles of Person Centered Practices. The Arc Washington County supports over 800 people making choices regarding what services they need and want. The Arc has adopted these principles and is working to implement these practices and methods of service planning and delivery.
